I just made my own version using garlic butter and toasted sesame oil and it was fantastic. Add 2 big cloves of garlic macerated w/kosher salt to the butter and cream together. I also added 2 more eggs. YUMMMO

There is no zucchini or mushrooms in Benihanas fried rice. They forgot the chicken & need more eggs. I just made a copycat recipe last night for the fried rice & it was ALMOST spot on, just the ingredient amounts on the recipe were too small. But the recipe I used was almost the same as this one & is very good.

u forgot garlic butter, zucchini, mushrooms, sesame oil. I asked the cook.

I just got this recipe so haven’t done it yet but–when I do I’ll cook & chill the rice (cold/old-1 day old at least)first. It makes a much better fried rice dish.
