I know I’ve said it many times, but Chili’s is one of my favorite spots for quick bite or some good drinks with friends. I almost always order a Margarita Presidente to start off. It tastes so good and goes down smooth. And they serve it in a cool shaker too! lol… The secret to recreating this recipe is to use the name brands listed in the recipe. Enjoy responsibly!
1 1/4 ounces Sauzas Commemorativo Tequila
1/2 ounce Presidente brandy
1/2 ounce Cointreau liqueur
4 ounces sour mix
Splash of lime juice
Pour all ingredients into a shaker glass with crushed ice. Shake very well and serve in a salt rimmed margarita glass with some ice.

Awesome. Thanks. These are my favorite Margarita’s. I am giving this a try out tonight if I can find the ingredients in these crappy PA ‘Wine & Spirits’ stores.
Very nice and very close but not accurate. It needs more work !!!
The real trick to a great margarita is the sour mix. Chili’s definately has the best sour mix out there. However, you can’t buy the mix.
this recipe is good place to start for making the presidente, but not quite the right ingredients to make it. I’ve tried very many variations to come up with a recipe that you couldn’t tell the difference between chil’s margarita and mine. If you want to knew, you can email me. One comment to MIMI, you can buy thier mix, you just have ask: it comes in powder form to be mixed with ine gallon of water and only about 4 dallars and change.
I would love to have the recipe. These are also my favorite. I mix my own at home, but they just aren’t quite the same and I am convinced that it is the sour mix.

The closest thing I’ve come to, in terms of the perfects S&S is a brand called Lasco…They come in white bags in powder form…I usually use one bag of Lasco Lemon and one bag of Lasco LIme…Now understand that this ratio makes about 5 gallons of S&S if you’re making it for like one glass I’d use about a Tbl Spoon of each, to taste

Tequlia is my choice of drink, Chili’s Margarita is my choice period LOL Most places use Lime. Chili’s uses Lemon. Thats the big difference. I have tried a lot of other tequila’s, liqueur’s and lemon mixes, but they just don’t come close to the real thing. Don’t compromise ingredients.
1 1/4 ounces Sauza Commemorativo Tequila
1/2 ounce Presidente Brandy
1/2 ounce Cointreau Liqueur
4 ounces Chili’s LEMON cocktail mix. Most will let you buy it from them, just ask.
1/8-1/4 ounce Lime Juice (squeeze a lime slice)
