BAM!!! It’s time to kick it up a notch! …hehe… I always wanted to say that. This spice blend has become a staple in my kitchen, I find myself adding it to many of my dishes for a little extra flavor and spice! Mix it up and store it for future use.
2 tablespoons chili powder
2 teaspoons ground cumin
2 tablespoons paprika
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon ground coriander
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon dried oregano
Combine all ingredients thoroughly.
What do you mainly use this spice mix for?
really nice blog
Sprinkle some on a pot of Pinto Beans, fried eggs, any vegetable, any meat or salad. Personally I love to mix this into a bottle of Ranch dressing. When you have a salad you don’t need to use as much dressing because you have all this wonderful flavor. Great for people watching their weight because you can use this instead of salt.
Is this better with pork or steaks, what? You couldn’t sprinkle it on everything, it would all taste the same!
This is wonderful. But what I would really like is Emeril’s Essence!! Oh please, please, can someone post the recipe for Essence?
