Herbed Green Beans
(4 servings)
1 lb fresh green beans, cut into 1-inch lengths
4 tbsp butter
1/4 cup minced onions
1/2 garlic clove, minced
1/4 cup minced celery
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp rosemary
1/4 tsp basil
Soak green beans in cold water for 15 minutes.
Melt butter in a 1-1/2 quart saucepan. Saute onions, garlic and celery in it until tender.
Add drained beans, cover, and cook over low heat for 15 to 20 minutes. Add seasonings.
