1 Cup vanilla wafer crumbs, rolled fine
1 Cup finely chopped coconut or pecan meats
1 Cup confectioners' sugar
2 Tblsp cocoa
2 Tblsp white corn syrup
1/3 Cup rum, brandy, or whiskey
Prepare vanilla wafer crumbs. Add the remaining ingredients. Mix well. Shape by teaspoons into firm balls. Roll in confectioners' sugar, instant coffee, or dry cocoa.
Store tightly covered. Makes about 50 balls.
Store at least a week to develop the best flavor.
