I didn't miss your point -
when purchasing a pressure cooker/fryer a consumer must decide what use they will get out of it
only by reading the box/booklet that comes with an appliance will tell you if it is what you are looking for
KFC orders their chicken from a poultry supplier - these suppliers stock the frozen marinated chicken pieces that KFC uses and no one else is allowed to purchase that product
although the "clone" recipes that are made in a regular deep fryer are not that far off for taste and texture
