Not only do the kids love to eat these - but they also love to help make them!
CHOCOLATE-DIPPED OREO POPS
MAKES 10
10 wooden sticks
10 double-stuffed Oreos
1 ½ c. (9 oz.) semisweet chips
1 ½ T. Crisco shortening
Decorations: sprinkles, jimmies, candies, etc.
Line baking sheet with waxed paper. Insert stick in each cookie. Melt chocolate and shortening. Dip cookies and lay on fork tines or thin rack on sheet. Sprinkle around the edges, and decorate. Let stand until set. Wrap in plastic wrap. Will store in fridge for 2 weeks.
