Crockpot Burgundy Beef
2 lbs round steak, cut into 1 inch cubes
2 tablespoons cooking oil
1 1/2 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon marjoram leaves
1/4 teaspoon thyme leaves
1/8 teaspoon pepper
5 medium onions sliced
1/2 pound mushrooms, trimmed and sliced
3/4 cup beef broth
1 1/2 cups burgundy wine
Dredge meat in flour. In medium skillet, brown meat in oil and remove to crockpot. Add all ingredients and cook on low 8 to 10 hours. Serve over cooked buttered noodles, with a tossed salad and bread.
