I just found this site and I am VERY excited to try several recipes. I'm not sure if this goes here, I don't know where I got the original recipe from- but I do make them in a jar.

Blueberry Bombs

2 c fresh blueberryies (take out the "bad" ones and wash)
1 c sugar
1/2 c water
1 t lemon zest (or jucie from 1/2 lemon)
1 c 100-proof vodka
1/2 c brandy

Place blueberries in 1 qt jar. Make simple syrup (bring sugar and water to a boil over medium high heat - sitr contantly so it doesn't burn). When clear remove from heat and let stand until warm. Add remaining ingredients over blueberries. Cover and let stand for 1 mont before serving. This makes about 2 1/2 quarts or 5 pints.

My family asks for these every year. It's great in fruit salad or over ice cream.
