Patriotic Jell-O Shots

Here's an easy but delightful twist to our favorite Jell-O shots for any patriotic gathering.

Ingredients


2 3-ounce gelatin packages of blue and red
1 bag of miniature marshmallows or frozen whipped topping
vodka
Non-stick cooking spray

Line up individual plastic souffle cups on trays to fit in freezer.
Spray cups with non-stick cooking spray.
Dissolve red gelatin in 3/4 cup of boiling water.
Let cool to room temperature.
Add 3/4 cup of vodka.
Pour a little bit in each cup.
Stick in freezer until set.
Working with a little of the marshmallows at a time, microwave until soft.
Spoon a bit over the red gelatin in the cups.
Return to freezer.
Prepare blue gelatin in the same manner as the red.
Pour over the marshmallows in the cups.
Cap each and chill until firm.

Note:
Keep chilled.
If transporting to a party, keep them in an ice filled cooler.
Whipped topping can be substituted for the marshmallows.
If substituting, make sure you work with it frozen.
