Default Re: slowcooker italian herbed chicken

Rho - this sounds really good!! Do you mind me sharing two of the Italian Herb Seasoning recipes that I have? - it?s good for sauces, meatballs, pasta dishes, etc. It may be cheaper - I don't know what packages cost in Canada - but here it's much cheaper to make your own.

Here are small batch recipes for you to try - you can always increase it if you like it and make as much as you want.

Italian Seasoning Herb Blend I

2 teaspoons dried basil
2 teaspoons dried marjoram
2 teaspoons dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried sage

Combine all ingredients; store in an airtight container.

Italian Seasoning Herb Blend II

1 teaspoon Oregano
1 teaspoon Marjoram
1 teaspoon Basil
1 teaspoon Rosemary
1 teaspoon Thyme
1 teaspoon Sage

Combine all ingredient; store in airtight container.
Makes 2 T.

Let me know if you try either of these.
