Swedish Butter Balls

1 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup icing sugar, sifted
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/4 cups Cake & Pastry Flour
1 cup pecans, finely chopped
icing sugar, sifted



CREAM butter, icing sugar and vanilla together thoroughly.

ADD flour. Mix well. Stir in nuts.

SHAPE dough into 1" balls. Place on ungreased baking sheet.

BAKE at 400ºF for 8-12 minutes or until very light golden.

COOL on racks. Roll in sifted icing sugar.
