Extremely simple Fettucine Alfredo - also courtesy of a friend:


FETTUCINE ALFREDO
1 # Fettucine, cooked al dente

1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
1/3 cup light cream
1/4 lb. butter
1 egg yolk, slightly beaten

Heat cream, butter and cheese to almost-boiling, add egg yolk, whisk well, and pour over drained noodles.

Serves 4
