I have been looking for a "Coffee Cake" that I had a recipe for in the early 60's. I guess it got lost in all my moves because I can't find it now. It was a weird recipe! The "batter" was almost like a pie dough, except sweet. It had to be pressed into the cake pan. Then you put some brown sugar and pecan chips onto the top and bake it. It was so light and sweet after it was baked. If anyone knows what that recipe was, I'd appreciate knowing it again.
