Default Sour Cream Pancakes

1 1/4 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
3 tsp sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1 teaspoon oil
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 cup sour cream
1 cup buttermilk

In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, sugar & baking soda. Whisk to blend it together. In another bowl combine sour cream and buttermilk (stir to smooth out a bit), then add your eggs and oil. Stir into flour mixture until smooth.

Spoon your batter (about 1/3 cup) per pancake onto your nonstick griddle and flip when top is covered with bubbles or edges look cooked. Cook until browned. Serve with your favorite syrup or just a little butter.

Makes 12 medium size pancakes.

This recipe came from my mother-in-law who came across it in the Sunday paper quite a while ago. Once we had a taste, these became our favorite pancakes.
