Default Re: Need some suggestions on low blood circulation

Are you able to walk? Just slowly - not power walking - but if you can do 10 to 15 minutes each day and work up to doing it twice a day, then 3 times a day. Light stretching, deep breathing and watching your diet will help.

Eat more fruits and veggies, cook healthier and watch your sodium intake. Home cooking will help with that. Canned, processed, frozen foods are loaded with sodium. And watch out for those frozen skinless boneless chicken breasts - they are pumped with junk and sodium.

Are you on blood thinners? Try reading up on the health benefits of various antioxidants and natural plaque cleansers, such as blueberries, etc. Then speak to your doctor about them and get his/her advice.

Also - a stationery bike can be used - slow and easy - for a few minutes a couple times a day.

Try not to sit too long without getting up and moving around a bit.

Discuss all this with your doctor.

Good luck and I hope you find some healthy recipes here that you can enjoy!
