Haitian Hot Pepper Sauce
Yield: 2 Cups
Ingredients:
3 habanero or 6 serrano chiles, stemmed; chopped
1/2 c papaya, chopped
1/2 c raisins
1 c finely chopped onions
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 ts turmeric
1/4 c malt vinegar
Combine all ingredients in a sauce pan and bring to a boil,
stirring constantly. Reduce heat and cook for 5 minutes. Place
mixture in blender and blend until smooth.
