I used
sugar 364g
liquid glucose 313g
gelatine(bloom 220) 45g

1. boiled sugar and glucose upto 111centigrade

2.let it cool until 85centigrade

3.add dissolved gelatine & citric acid

4.when set cut into pieces & coat in sugar.

This is a recipe I have - I don't know if you would like to try it or not - but I hope you do.

1 lb sugar
½ pt water
2 oz gelatine
Flavoring
Coloring and powdered sugar

Soak the gelatine with ¼ pt water. Put the sugar, gelatine and the rest of the water in a pan and carefully dissolve over a gentle heat.

Bring the mixture to a boil, and boil for 5 minutes. Color and flavor as desired.

Pour into a wet pan and allow to cool.

When finally set, cut into shapes and roll in powdered sugar.
