Fried Potatoes Pancakes Help Please

Can I use my deep fryer to make potatoes pancakes.Never did it that
way all ways on the stove top with a fry pan

are you making them ahead of time and freezing them before cooking?

No i am cooking them for mothers day

I've never deep fried them - I always fry in hot oil using my cast iron skillet - so all I can say is - make a few before Mother's Day and see how they turn out and if you like them.

I think deep frying them would cause them to fall apart.

That's how I feel - some things were not meant to deep fry - but then again you don't know what the recipe is. It's a hard call - I'll stick to my cast iron pan!
