Red face barbeque pork ribs

There are alot of recipes for barbequed ribs out there, but I'm looking for one that you put the raw ribs on the spit-let them go round and round-like a rotissere chicken. Any help out there?

Default Re: barbeque pork ribs

Hi Carol - will this help at all?

Rotisserie cooking ribs is a great way to do it! They won't burn or overcook and they are self-basted that way. Top baby back ribs, TRUE baby back ribs and St. Louis cut ribs work best cooked this way. Season and cut into portions that will fit into your rotisserie basket; tightly close and attach to your spit. Set your timing control to 400* F. and let them cook until they are dark brown and crusty and the meat has shrunk back about 1/4 of an inch on the bones. This could take 45 - 60 minutes or so.

You can rub them with any rub you want and baste during the last 15 to 20 minutes.

I hope this helps.
