as requested - stuffed chops
Instead of using raw sausage try cooking it.
I don't know what you add to it - so for instance:
Saute the sausage (bulk or removed from casings) with whatever veggies (onions, peppers, etc.) until verywell browned - I cook mine well done - remove from heat and cool. Add any breadcrumbs, eggs, etc. as if making a meatloaf. This can even be done ahead of time and refrigerated.
Slit and stuff chops - use toothpicks to seal and bake - or fry.
I don't stuff my chops with raw sausage - it's just my preference.
