Default Re: How do you get bread to rise

First of all - check the date on your yeast to make sure it will rise
secondly - assemble your ingredients in a draft-free environment, when ready to let your bread dough rise for the first rise - cover and place in a warm place - free from drafts - by warm I don't mean in an oven - just a spot on the cupboard would do where it won't be disturbed and there are no drafts - repeat for the second rise as well

We make bread 365 days a year - regardless of whether it is 99 degrees out there or the wind chill factors are 45 below zero

I hope this helps
