How to best deep fry Pierogies?
I recently went to a restaurant and had deep fried Pierogies for an appetizer. The crust came out bubbly and delicious. When I was at home I tried to deep fry some frozen pierogies they did not turn out so nice. The crust was brown and hard it was not nice and bubbly like the restaurant. The restaurant I went to was not very fancy so I am sure they were using frozen perogies also. Any suggestions on the oil or technique to use to get a better result? Thanks for any suggestions!

According to the frozen pierogi manufacturers - fry frozen for 4 minutes at 350* F. but many prefer to par-boil them first; drain/dry well and then deep fry. Make sure your oil is at the right temp.
