Strawberries

I don't remember where I heard this but if you take a nice strong straw and stick it through the bottom of the strawberry until it pushes the core out on the top. That way you can have a perfectly cored strawberry without making a mess.

Hi McDuck,

You are absolutely right, I use that method all of the time to hull strawberries. I've used this method for about 32 years now as I use to live close to Plant City, FL and went to their strawberry festival every year and they had a demonstrator showing people how to hull a strawberry with a straw and believe me it really works and no mess either it is so much faster and easier to hull than the old way of hulling.
