Default question about shipping cookies

Hi everyone I was wondering if anyone could tell me the best possible way to ship homemade cookies. I want to send them overseas to guys in the military. Any advice you can give me would greatly be appreciated. Thank you so much

Default Shipping Cookies

Hi Shelly430,
Try packing them in empty Pringles cans and making sure they are well padded (bubble wrap, foam peanuts, etc.) in the box. If cookies are larger, use small oatmeal (or similar) containers wrapping each cookie individually and then wrap as a group so they stay together in the container. You don't have to wrap smaller cookies individually. They seem to hold up okay. If you have excess room, fill container with tissue paper or crinkled up wax paper.

Haven't sent any to the military but do ship to family and friends in the States and they arrive in good condition.

Hope this helps.
Pat

When sending cookies overseas - we have used plain popped popcorn inside the cookie tins to help prevent breakage - and then they also have popcorn to munch on! The popcorn holds the cookies in place.
