Sweet and Sour Beef and Vegetables
* 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
* 2 pounds round or chuck steak, into 1-inch cubes
* 2 [8-ounce] each cans tomato sauce
* 2 teaspoons chili powder
* 2 teaspoons paprika
* 1/4 cup sugar
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1/2 cup vinegar
* 1/2 cup molasses
* 2 cups 1/4-inch thick carrot slices
* 2 cups peeled tiny white onions
* 1 large sweet green pepper, membranes and seeds removed, into 1-inch cubes
* Brown steak cubes into hot vegetable oil.
* Transfer steak cubes into a slow cooker.
* Well mix in tomato sauce, chili powder, paprika, sugar, salt, vinegar, molasses, carrot slices, tiny white onions and sweet green pepper cubes.
* Cook for 6 to 7 hours on low setting, or 4 hours on high setting.
