Default Sodium-Free Spice

Sodium-Free Spice
(2 to 3 tablespoons)

Blend #1

(for vegetables and meat):
1 teaspoon thyme
1 teaspoon marjoram
3/4 teaspoon rosemary
1/2 teaspoon sage

Blend #2

(for vegetables, poultry, and meat):
3/4 teaspoon marjoram
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon sage
1/2 teaspoon rosemary

Blend #3

(for fish):
3/4 teaspoon parsley flakes
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon sage
1/4 teaspoon marjoram
1/4 teaspoon paprika

Blend #4

(for meat, potatoes, and vegetables):
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon sage
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1/4 teaspoon marjoram

Nutrients Per Serving (1/8 teaspoon): Calories and nutrients negligible

Dietary Exchanges
: Free Food

Note
: In each recipe, ground spices and herbs should be used. Store in empty spice bottles with small-holed shaker tops.
