Is the condensed milk that you get in USA the same as our condensed milk here in the UK,or is it like our evaporated milk?I can't seem to get my head around these two at the moment.

Karen.

Our sweetened condensed milk is very thick (and sweet) versus our evaporated milk which is unsweetened (it's milk with the water removed) and pours like regular milk.

I hope this helps.

ice coffee.
smells and testes better.
well i have found one thing. that hot strong coffee is good.
but if u try to make the cold coffee strong then probably it may lead to the bad taste.
so its better.
while consuming the cold coffee to keep the standard level of the coffee in it.
any how more the chill coffee more the fun and joy.
so enjoy your ice coffee, Its Yummy..........

I always start out brewing coffee the reguar way, then chilling it. Like princieprakash says, it's hard to make the coffee god and strong, when it has cooled off.

I brew a pot of coffee, and add just a little sugar and vanilla-extract, then cool it. When it's chilled, I serve it with a generous scoop of good vanilla ice cream. It's the perfect coffeedrink on hot summers days

Iced Caffe Latte Cups
Serves 6

4 tablespoons sugar
½ cup freshly made espresso coffee
1 ¾ cups evaporated milk
1 cup light cream
Handful roasted coffee beans
Cantuccini or chocolate finger cookies, to serve

Stir the sugar into the coffee until dissolved. Mix in the evaporated milk and cream.
Pour into six coffee cups and scatter four or five coffee beans on top of each. Freeze for several hours until frozen solid. About an hour before serving, transfer to the refrigerator, then serve with a biscuit or two on the side.

1 cup strong cold coffee
4 tspn confectioner's sugar
1 cup half & half
3 cups crushed ice

Place all into a blender. Blend until smooth. Makes four, 10 oz. servings

Thanks for the recipes. I always wondered what was in them. I usually make it like i like my coffee and then chill it. But the condensed milk sounds good
