Default Recipe software

I am looking for a good recipe software so that I can put all my recipes together and get them organized better. It would get a plus if it could help with meal planning. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.

Thanks

dreamin cowgirl -

I looked at so many different programs and not one of them was what I wanted! Finally, when I joined our sister site - SMR - we got a recipe program with it. And it was perfect for me. I have tons of recipes and I did not want to have to re-type them. And this one is absolutely perfect for me. Too bad I didn't have this proram before I spent all I did on other ones!

Thank you, it does sound like what I am looking for. Unfortunetly, I am unable to afford that at this time, but I am hoping in the spring I can sign up for the lifetime membership. Thank you and when I sign up I will let them know you referred me to the site so you can get the commission.

I don't get a commission on this. And I would not refer anyone to the site and the program unless it was something I really used and liked. I spent too much money in the past - or should I say - I WASTED too much money in the past looking for a program to give me what I needed. Please don't think I am into sales - I'm not. And to be honest with you - I spent more money on junk programs than what the lifetime membership costs!

What I share here on RSN is my choice - and I enjoy doing it - it's just a hobbie of mine.

I recently started using "Cookbook Wizard" software. I'm happy with it for organizing my recipes - it is easy. It comes with lots of recipes, but I deleted most of the recipes it came with and am using the software for my own collection of recipes. I don't remember how much it cost, but it was a download from their website.
