Looking for low sodium recipes. Have learned somewhat to re-figure some recipes, could use some help with alot of favorites.

Find a copy of the book, Cooking without a Grain of Salt by Elma Bagg. It might be in a used book store, too.

It's in paperback also.

Years ago I read it and followed her suggestions for foods and vegetables that are naturally salty and what kind of foods to avoid. You just prepare and season your food differently. I found this the best book and most practical for real people. Easy to read.

We managed to successfully reduce the salt in our diet and my husband was able to stop taking his medication because his blood pressure was controlled by the diet..
