Hi all! I am new to the forum and have a request. I have searched everywhere I can think of for this one. In approximately 1970-71, I found a recipe in some magazine (cannot remember which one). It was for a cookie they called Paul Bunyan Cookies. This was a refrigerator cookie that they divided into three portions. One portion was chocolate, one was spice and the last one was just food colored red (if I remember correctly on this). Then it was layered into a 1/2 gallon, cardboard milk carton with one side cut off. After refrigeration, it was sliced into 1/4 inch slices and baked. The cookies came out about 3x4 inches and were sooooo delicious. Through many moves, this recipe has been lost and I am desperately attempting to recover it. Thanks for any help!

Question Re: Cookies - other

Hi.
I'm new to this forum as well.
I've been trying to recreate those jumbo cookies that you find in most bakeries (chocolate chip, chinese, sprinkles).
They are so thick and big yet are chewy when you bite into them.
Does anyone have any similar recipes to those amazing cookies?

Most of the big cookies are made with any of your favorite recipe - just drop 1/4 c. dough about 3 inches aart on your cookie sheets. Depending on your recipe - they can bake in 15 to 17 minutes at 325* F.

I hope this helps.
