    Strawberry Custard With Cherry

    Ingredients

    • Chopped fresh strawberry (semi boiled in sugar syrup) - 1bowl
    • Cherry
    • Custard Powder (Vanilla Flavour) - 6tbsp
    • Khoya Kheer - 1cup
    • Sugar - 1cup
    • Milk - Boil 750gm to turn it into 500gm


    Method

    • Store some amount of boiled milk in fridge because custard powder is mixed with cold milk
    • So now add 6tbsp custard powder to the cold milk and keep aside
    • Put the rest of the milk which is already boiled on gas and once the milk starts boiling add the custard powder mix in it and stir well
    • Add sugar & khoya kheer and stir well so that the custard thickens up
    • Add the semi boiled strawberry pieces and stir well &take off from the gas
    • Pour in a serving bowl and dress on top with whole cherries
    • Store it in fridge and serve cold

    I normally take fruit bowl made up with banana,watermelon,musk melon,papaya,apple and pineapple cutting into small pieces adding pepper and salt over the fruits.

    I like this Strawberry Custard With Cherry recipe.I don't know this Khoya Kheer.May I know where this is available.I have seen this in my near by super market there it is not there.

    Apple and Saffron sauce Dessert:
    Apple and saffron sauce is a dessert sauce made with apples and is given an indian touch by use of saffron. It can be served with sandesh or many different indian desserts either hot or cold.
    Add your private note
    Preparation Time: 10 mins
    Cooking Time: 10 mins
    Makes 4 servings

    Ingredients:
    4 apple , sliced
    1 tsp lemon juice
    7 tsp sugar
    1/4 tsp saffron (kesar) strands

    For The Topping
    3 sandesh
    Method
    Warm the saffron and rub with a little water until it dissolves.
    Add the lemon juice, sugar, 3/4 teacup of water and the apples and cook until soft.
    Remove the apples and boil the liquid until thick.
    Spread the sauce over the apples.
    Serve hot or cold.

    Variation : sandesh with golden apples :
    In the above recipe, use grated apples instead of sliced apples and spread the apples on a serving tray.
    Top with 3 sandesh.
    Decorate with saffron dots and serve.
    Tips
    Health Information :
    Saffron gives a traditional flavour to this sauce which goes well with Indian meals.
