as a young bride many years ago I decided to make a cherry pie for new hubby who was generally impressed with my every efforts, being the country girl I was and for the most part still am, I chose to make it from scratch, however, bored with pitting each and every cherry I decided to just throw it together and pit as we eat, bad as the experience was for hubby, it was more so when MIL took her first bite but brutal when FIL chose to share the tale with his card buddies...........who I served coffe to daily............. quess I should have bought a can of W.. Cherry Pie Mix
