I make smoothies by doing the following:

In a blender, add:

vanilla frozen yogurt
frozen strawberries
frozen blueberries
frozen raspberries
sometimes also add canned pineapple chunks
orange juice
Welsh's grape juice

You can add just about any type of juice and frozen berries to frozen yogurt that you like.

Here are a few recipes that you also might like.

Banana Berry Smoothie

¾ cup apple juice
¾ cup strawberry juice
2/3 cup frozen blueberries
1 banana, sliced
1 scoop raspberry sherbet
1 scoop vanilla non-fat frozen yogurt
1 cup ice

Combine all ingredients in blender and blend on high speed until all the ice is crushed and the drink is smooth.
Makes one 24-oz. drink.

Strawberry Mango Smoothie

1 cup strawberries, stems removed
1 medium mango, peeled and cut into 1/2-in. cubes (about 1 c.)
2 cups freshly squeezed orange juice

Line baking sheet with parchment paper. Place strawberries and mango on prepared sheet in single layer. Place baking sheet in freezer until fruit is frozen, about 2 hours.

Place orange juice, strawberries, and mango in blender. Process until smooth.

Serve immediately. YIELD: 4

Strawberry Ice Smoothie

½ bottle iced tea (237 ml)
2 cups strawberries
1 cup vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt
6-8 ice cubes

In blender, combine iced tea, strawberries, ice cream or frozen yogurt. Add ice cubes, one at a time and process until blended.

Serve immediately.

Pink Banana Blizzard

1 cup vanilla ice cream
1 cup milk
1/3 cup frozen fruit punch concentrate
1 banana, peeled and cut into chunks

Whiz all the ingredients together in a blender until smooth.

Pour into glasses and garnish with a maraschino cherry. Serves 2.

========

YOU can also try using sherbet instead of vanilla yogurt in your smoothies. Don't be afraid to experiment!
