Question How do I post a recipe?

I have recipes to exchange and would like to find some that I have lost. But I can't figure how to post. I read where another lady had ask the same question and it said to click on new topic but I can't find that either?
THANKS sweetchickRN

Hi sweetchickRN .... everyone say hi and welcome to sweetchickRn !!!!

Welcome to Recipe Secrets. There are tons of great recipes here and our membership is truly a great group of folks. I am sure you will enjoy your time here and I think it would be safe for me to say that on behalf of the membership, we all look forward to your great recipe posts!

Just a brief note of clarification...

You will find NEW THREAD or POST REPLY at the top of each page in each particular forum. If it is a new recipe your entering, it will be NEW THREAD. If it is a recipe your adding to a thread already started by another member, then it will be POST REPLY. Those are the buttons you will click on to post your recipe! When you click on those buttons, a new screen will open up, and you merely fill in the subject line with the recipe name, and then enter your recipe in the area below the subject line. When your finished, click SUBMIT NEW POST , if it is new recipe thread you started, or SUBMIT REPLY , if you are adding to an exisitng thread started by another member. And that's all there is to it! It really isn't difficult, but if you need any help, just give a hollar!

By the way... if you think about how you posted your question, it is the exact same way!!! So, you've already done it...congrat's! Do the same thing, only use your recipe, in the specific forum area, as outlined below!

*If it is a dessert recipe, go to ... Just Dessert Recipes forum.
*If it is a health related recipe, go to ... Heart & Health forum. There are several threads to choose from there.
*If it is an International recipe, go to ... International Recipes forum. This is an evolving forum, with several threads to choose from.
* If you have a specific recipe which contains an ingredient that matches the topic of choice in the Ingredient forum, go to ... Ingredient Forum. This is also a forum which is evolving and you should check regularly.
*If it doesnt quite fit in any of those categories, then post it up in Recipe Exchange forum.

There are also a few fun forums as well, so be sure to check them all out!

If you are wondering how to get to those forums, simply scroll down to the bottom of the page and look for the "Forum Jump" button and rectangular box beside it, or below it. The small arrow to the right of that box will give you a pull down list of the various forums. Select the particular forum you wish to visit by clicking on it. Then hit the GO button. Voila!

Just a reminder to post your recipe in the desginated forums. That's what they were intended for and it saves moderators the headache of having to move them afterwards. There are a ton of them that need to be moved now, as it is.

Our website admin\moderator\grand pubah is Mr. R.on Dou.glas. R.on is a great fellow and should you have any questions\concerns that need to be addressed by him, simply go to your message area and address your message to admin. Also, feel free to use your moderators for questions and concerns, and if required, they can contact Mr. Doug.las. Simply send a message from your own message area to the moderator, using their screen name. The moderators are as follows: Aline, B-man, Kitchenwitch, Swtness.

(If you are wondering why I placed the period in Mr. Doug.las name, it is because our old system used to shorten his name, when typed fully, to RD. Not everyone knew who RD was. So, not knowing if the new system still does that, I placed them inside the spelling, to prevent the system from doing the same thing, if it still does. Force of habit I guess!)

Have fun!

B-man
