Default Popeyes® Chicken Wings a la Hurricane!

Popeyes® Chicken Wings a la Hurricane!

Ingredients

12 Popeyes chicken wings (spicy or mild)
1 1/2 cups Balsamic vinaigrette dressing (your favorite bottled brand)
1/2 cup Honey
Pinch Fresh cayenne
1 teaspoon Fresh chopped garlic
1/2 bunch Fresh cut green onion
Servings: This recipe makes 12 wings.

Visit your local Popeyes and purchase 12 Cajun fried chicken wings and set aside.

To build glaze, use whisk and mix inside a two-quart bowl:
a. Balsamic vinaigrette dressing
b. Fresh cayenne
c. Fresh chopped garlic
d. Fresh cut green onion

Pour half of the sauce mixture into a bowl and the add six of the chicken wings. Use a pair of tongs, or other appropriate utensil, to coat the wings as desired. Repeat this step with the remainder of the sauce and chicken wings.

For a healthier alternative: Pull the crust off the chicken before putting the sauce mixture on it.

Place wings on an un-greased biscuit pan.

Bake the glazed wings at 300°F for approximately 20 minutes. Cook until warm (be careful not to burn the glaze).
