Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Blondies
Yield: 24 Squares
2 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup creamy or chunky peanut butter
1/2 cup margarine or butter
1 cup packed light brown sugar
2/3 cup light or dark corn syrup with real brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 package (12 oz) semisweet chocolate chips (2 cups)
Preheat oven to 350`F. In medium bowl combine flour, baking powder and salt; set aside.
In large bowl with mixer at medium speed beat peanut butter, butter and sugar until smooth. Blend in corn syrup, eggs and vanilla. Reduce speed; beat in flour mixture. Fold in chocolate chips. Spread in ungreased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool in pan on wire rack. Cut into 2 1/2-inch squares.
