Chocolate Gravy

This is a very special treat mom made for us when we had cousins or friends stay overnight at our house.

3/4 C. sugar
1/4 C. cocoa powder
2 T. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 C. milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 stick butter

Combine first four ingredients. Add milk and vanilla extract and stir until well blended. Set aside.

Melt butter in a large skillet.

Add milk mixture and stir constantly until thickened.

Serve over hot buttermilk biscuits.
