Cream Cheese Squares

This recipe was given to me by my aunt and its extrememly simple, but they are amazing! The are best when served cold. This is the basic recipe, but pretty much any variaton on these can be done. Ive actually done this with pineapple and coconut mixed into the cream cheese filling the sprinkled powdered sugar on the top.

2 pkgs Crescent Rolls
2 pkgs Cream Cheese
1 cup sugar
1 egg (separate yolk)
Cinnamon Sugar

Preheat oven to 350 F. Spread 1 pkg of rolls on bottom of greased 9 x 13'' pan. Spread the mixture of creamcheese and sugar on rolls. Place second layer of rolls on top and brush with egg white. Bbake 25 - 30 minutes or until top is golden brown. Cool to room temperature and sprinkle cinnamon sugar on top. Immediately refrigerate.
