Beef Rub with a Mediterranean Twist


1-1/2 tsp. dried basil
1-1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1-1/2 tsp. dried oregano
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper


Combine and mix well.

Rub evenly over both sides of your favorite steak prior to grilling.



* Serving suggestions:
* Thinly slice grilled steak and serve with grilled asparagus and grilled squash, brushed with olive oil and lightly salted.
* Thinly slice grilled steak and serve over baby spinach with tomatoes and thin slices of purple onion. Drizzle with a prepared salad dressing.
* Thinly slice grilled steak and serve in a sourdough roll with a layer of roasted red pepper slices, baby spinach leaves and a slice of mozzarella cheese.
