Orange Dream Cake

1 box orange (or lemon) cake mix
10 oz diet orange soda
1 egg
2 small pkgs sugar-free orange gelatin
3 1/2 oz sugar-free vanilla pudding mix
1 c milk
1 t vanilla
8 oz Cool Whip

Mix cake mix, soda & egg together and pour into a 9 X 13’ pan. Bake as directed on box. When done, use a meat fork to poke holes across the top of the entire cake. Allow to cool. In a medium bowl, mix together 1 box jello, 1 c hot water and 1 c cold water. Pour over top of cake. Refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours. Mix remaining box of jello, pudding mix, milk, and vanilla together. Beat well. Fold whipped topping into this mixture, and spread on top of cake. Chill in refrigerator until serving.
