Nutter Butter Pie Steak & Ale Restaurant Years ago, Steak & Ale had a dessert -- Nutter Butter Pie. It had Nutter Butter Cookies, Butternut Candy Bars, Butter Pecan Ice Cream and Banana Nut Ice Cream as some of the ingredients.
Bob Evans Peanut Butter Pie
1 5 oz. pkg. Jell-O Instant Vanilla Pudding
2 cups cold skim milk (you could use any milk you like)
1/2 cup whipping cream, whipped
1 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
1 pre-baked pie shell of your choice (use a ready made, refrigerated
crust, or you can bake your own), lightly browned
1 - 8 Ounce container of Cool Whip (or store brand equivalent)
Garnish: chocolate syrup & crushed peanuts
Whisk together pudding mix and cold milk in bowl until creamy. Add 1/2 cup whipped whipping cream, peanut butter. Whisk until completely blended. Pour into baked pie shell, cover with generous layer of Cool Whip whipped topping. Put in freezer for 1 hour until set. Remove from freezer, drizzle with chocolate syrup. Sprinkle with nuts.

Scoop ice cream into pie shell, squirt on magic shell and garnish with cookies!
Easy...keep frozen, of course.
Makes 1 pie.
NUTTER BUTTERŪ Chocolate Cream Pie
24 NUTTER BUTTER Peanut Butter Sandwich Cookies, divided
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) margarine or butter, melted
24 JET-PUFFED Marshmallows
1/2 cup milk
2 squares BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Baking Chocolate, chopped
1-1/2 cups whipping cream, divided
2 Tbsp. PLANTERS COCKTAIL Peanuts, chopped
COARSELY chop 8 of the cookies; set aside. Finely crush remaining 16 cookies; mix with margarine. Place in 9-inch pie plate; press firmly onto bottom and up side of pie plate to form crust. Refrigerate until ready to use.
PLACE marshmallows, milk and chocolate in medium saucepan; cook on low heat until marshmallows are completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring frequently. Remove from heat; cool completely.
BEAT 3/4 cup of the whipped cream in small bowl with electric mixer on high speed until stiff peaks form. Add to marshmallow mixture along with the chopped cookies; stir gently until well blended. Spoon into prepared crust. Refrigerate at least 3 hours. When ready to serve, beat remaining 3/4 cup whipped cream until stiff peaks form; spoon over pie. Sprinkle with peanuts. Store leftover pie in refrigerator.
Nutter Butter Frozen Peanut Butter Pie
Crust:
24 Nutter butter sandwich cookies
5 tablespoons butter melted
Filling:
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup creamy peanut butter
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 (8 ounce) container Cool Whip, thawed, divided
Crush cookies in zip-top plastic bag with rolling pin or in food processor. Mix cookie crumbs and butter. Press onto bottom and sides of 9-inch pie plate.
Mix cream cheese, peanut butter, sugar and vanilla extract with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Gently stir in 1 1/2 cups Cool Whip. Spoon into crust.
Freeze 4 hours or overnight until firm. Let stand 1/2 hour or until pie can be cut easily. Garnish with remaining whipped topping and additional cookies, if desired.
Special extra: just before serving, drizzle chocolate flavored syrup on plates.
NUTTER BUTTER PIE
14 or 1/2 pkg. of Nutter Butter cookies
3 butter fingers
2 oz. melted butter
Blend cookies and candy bars. Pour melted butter over it.
1 lb. butter pecan ice cream
1 lb. vanilla ice cream
Let ice cream soften. Put vanilla ice cream in pan 1/2 inches deep. Cover with 1/2 inch of the Nutter Butter crust. Freeze above until frozen.
Take softened butter pecan ice cream and spread 1/2 inch deep on top of frozen 2 layers. Add remaining Nutter Butter crust. Put back into freezer. Add 1 more layer vanilla ice cream to crust and freeze. To release pie from pan, put hot towel on bottom of pan. Cut with hot knife or cookie cutter.
MUD PIE:
Same as above except use Rocky Road and Toffee ice cream. Top with hot fudge and pecans. Freeze. Serve with hot fudge topping.
