River City Diner Onion Ring Recipie Needed

I visited Richmond VA last year and went to a diner across from the 17th Street Farmers Market called the River City Diner. They spoiled me in a lot of ways. But I have been searching for onion rings like they make - They are by far the best I have ever had. The problem is that no one make them like they do; so I want to make them myself. If anyone know their secret, I wold love to know it. 250 miles is a long way to go for onion rings.
