Tex Mex Steak And Rice - CP
2 cups converted rice
1 chopped onion
1 can diced green chiles
3 celery stalks, thinly sliced
1 chopped green bell pepper
1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
1 (28 oz.) cut-up tomatoes, undrained
1 (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes with added puree
3 cups water
2 lbs. boneless top round steak, trimmed of fat and cut into cubes
In crockpot, combine all ingredients and mix well. Cover and cook on HIGH setting for 1 1/2 hours. Reduce setting to LOW and cook covered, 4 hours, or until meat is tender
