Purefoy Hotel Heavenly Hash or Pineapple Delicious
1 10 oz bottle Maraschino cherries*
1 can No. 2 pineapple (without juice)
1 cup pecan meats
1/2 pound marshmallows
1 pint whipped cream
1/2 cup sugar
Chop fruits and marshmallows and let stand for 1 hour, add whipped cream to
which has been added the sugar and nuts. Other fruit combinations may be
used if desired, but this is a year round base to use for this delectable
cake topping.
The above can be used on a plain sponge cake, angle or butter cake to make a delicious desert and one that is especially attractive for the passed
luncheon or refreshments at any hour.
My note: *don't know what 10c means, hope it's ounces.
