Cinnamon Sticks

Cinnamon Sticks

1/2 cup butter
1 cup flour
3 tablespoons powdered sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Combine flour, powdered sugar, cinnamon and walnuts (optional) in a medium bowl. Cut in butter, blend until ball forms. Roll out dough 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick. Cut into "sticks" about 1 /2 inches in length and between 1/4 and 1/2 inch wide. Place on baking sheet about 1 inch apart.
Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 min, until golden brown. Let cool for 5 minutes on baking sheet. Combine 1 cup powdered sugar with 2 tablespoons cinnamon. Roll Sticks in powdered sugar and cinnamon.

This cookie is very dense, and is excellent with Milk!!
