Default Famous Funnel Cakes

If you've attended a fair or carnival recently you probably have
seen these or perhaps even eaten em, now you can make this tasty
pastry at home.

Famous Funnel Cakes

3 beaten eggs
2 cups of milk
1/4 cup of sugar
4 cups of sifted flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon of salt

Add milk and sugar to beaten eggs, set aside.
In a seperate bowl sift together remaining ingredients.
Slowly add to eggs blending until smooth. Heat oil to 375 degrees.
Using a household funnel pour batter into hot oil controlling the
flow of batter by placing your finger over the bottom of funnel.
Make patterns, designs, swirls or whatever controlling the stream of
batter as it flowsinto the hot oil. When cakes turn a golden brown,
drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.

Default Just My Opinion

This is something I tried and found I cannot make it now without it.
If you add a couple of tablespoons of french vanilla coffee creamer(liquid) it gives it a WONDERFUL flavor.
