"Eggs" and Bread
Ingredients (use vegan versions):
* 1 package extra firm tofu (frozen then thawed)
* half stick or more of vegan margarine
* 1/2 teaspoon dill weed
* lemon pepper
* garlic powder
* onion powder
* salt to taste
* San Francisco style sour dough bread sliced.
Directions:
Thaw tofu and squeeze out as much liquid as you can. Fry tofu in vegan margarine while adding dill, pinch of garlic, onion powder, lemon pepper (important), salt to taste. Break up tofu while frying to resemble scrambled eggs. If tofu seems to be drying out, add more vegan margarine. The tofu absorbs the margarine that will eventually absorb in the bread! Make the tofu spicy because it's a filling.
The key to eggs and bread is to not use any utensils, but to use the bread itself to pick up the eggs (in this case tofu). Family recipes can continue!!
