Pat - how does this sound??
Pat - I thought of you when I saw this:
Chocolate Gravy
4 cups milk
9 Tablespoons flour
2 Tablespoons cocoa
1 cup sugar
1/8 cup honey
3 Tbsp. Butter
Mix dry ingredients. Pour in milk and cook over med-high heat. Stir constantly, til boiling and thick. Remove from heat and add butter and honey. Pour over biscuits fresh out of the oven.
It's an oldie.

Re: Pat - how does this sound??
KW,
Looks like the recipe I used to make.
When I first got married, my step children wanted chocolate gravy every Sunday morning for breakfast before church. To save time and gain a few extra winks of shuteye, I got by with just pouring Hershey's syrup straight from the can over some cooked canned biscuits. (You have to understand I was a young newly wed (eons ago) and didn't like to cook very much. My, how times have changed!) It worked for quite a while. Then one day, the oldest "little munchkin" got up early and I was busted. Had to learn to make the real thing along with homemade biscuits after that. You would have thought I tried to microwave the cat the way they carried on.
Anyway, thanks for the post. Probably still have it somewhere among all the handwritten recipes but couldn't find it now to save my life.
Pat

Re: Pat - how does this sound??
Think I would have to opt for a nice healthy salad (with a low cal/low fat chocolate dressing). Is there such a thing? If not, there certainly should be. hahaha. And, of course, plenty of water. Since I'm fantasizing, it should be Dasani brand.
If it were a tropical island, the chocolate would already be melted (or prepared) for me.
Don't you just love Fantasy Island? Works for me!!!

Re: Pat - how does this sound??
DITTO! I think I will work on a low-cal (if THAT'S possible) chocolate salad dressing! LOL
Sounds like the type of diet where you eat Lay's potato chips and drink diet soda!!! LOL
And already melted chocolate.......mmmmmmmm.........what a timesaver! What an indulgence! Yes! There is a God!!!
Fantasy Island and Fantasy Chocolate never hurt anyone!
