Default "Lil Johns" Deep Pit

Here a simple but great tasting meal for any occation.

Lil' Johns Deep Pit

4-5 lbs boneless chuck roast
2 TBS Old Bay Seasoning
1 cup soy sauce

aluminum foil
1 large brown paper bag
butchers string

Pre-heat oven to 225 degrees.
Tear 3-4 sheets of foil large enough to wrap and seal the meat and place on top of eachother.
Place the meat center on the foil and pull up the sides of the foil and pour the mixture over the meat.
seal with seam up, repeat this with remaining layers of foil.
Place the rapped meat seam side up into the brown paper bag and roll up the bag and tie off with the butchers string on each end of the bag.
Place the bagged meat on a sheet pan and cook in the 225 degrees oven for 10 - 12 hours.
Meat must reach a temperature of 165 degrees.
Remove bag and foil and shred and serve with avacado, sour cream, salsa and corn tortillas.
